Job Title: Associate Dir. Of Digital Media



The Assoc. Dir Digital Media is responsible for all facets of the digital media buys and coordinating campaigns with our linear media team. The position will be responsible for organizing and planning media campaigns based upon client budgets, objectives, and the overarching account strategy. The candidate will work with account and campaign managers to deliver a media buy approach across all existing digital channels. And will also work with third-party partners to negotiate rates and recommend new opportunities to new and existing clients.


The Associate Dir. Digital Media is responsible for the planning, purchasing, optimization, and reporting of all paid digital media.



  • Provides day-to-day support for clients
  • Oversees and manages client budgets
  • Develops online media buying strategies
  • POV writing and media recommendations
  • Facilitates performance management
  • Leads the compilation of campaign performance reporting
  • Leads decisions and approvals for campaign optimization
  • Assists in the trafficking of campaigns
  • Insertion order and flowchart execution
  • Approves vendor invoices
  • Approves media invoices



Education & Experience (REQUIRED)

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying
  • Agency experience is required


  • Working knowledge and experience working within DSPs
  • Working knowledge of SSP and DMP functionality
  • Experience trafficking creative within an Ad-Server (DCM)
  • Has experience working with multiple campaign dashboards and building comprehensive, client-facing reports.
  • Certified in Google Analytics
  • Working knowledge and experience working within Facebook Ads Manager as well as Google AdWords, or any automated Search/Social management platform



  • Superb verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel as well as Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demeanor
  • Experience with negotiating added value for clients
  • Experience utilizing third party data to inform media plans
  • A working knowledge of online advertising concepts (DSPs, DMPs, Ad-Servers, and etc.)




  • Ability to work both independently managing multiple projects, as well as collaboratively working with leaders of other functions areas to achieve common goals
  • Ability to drive results in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to identify and proactively solve problems
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, client-focused environment
  • Capable of pitching and upselling new opportunities to clients
