Job Description

The Social Media Manager will lead the agency’s social department from strategy to implementation and reporting. We are a small but scrappy group and this position would be asked to not only manage the client’s social business but also get their hands dirty with daily client work. This position is supported by a social coordinator, leadership and a bunch of hard working industry experts. This person should be motivated, enjoy leadership, comfortable in front of internal and client teams, a quick learner and passionate about the social sphere and how it can be used to drive our client’s business.



  • Social media strategy
  • Execution of and delivery of client presentations of strategy, boosted media strategies, monthly calendar management and reports
  • Managing the social projects within the agency
  • Scheduling, boosting and reporting on social accounts in partnership with the Social Media Coordinator
  • Ensuring all social tasks are completely on time and on budget and either meeting or exceeding client and agency expectations
  • Assisting in the monthly job discovery with the client and internal teams in order to adequately brief the internal team
  • Keep track of client and internal feedback and requests in order to efficiently communicate and manage delivery
  • Assist in monitoring and responding where applicable
  • Contributes to research and development of social content for clients

Skills and Qualifications 

  • 3-5 Years of experience in social media and preferably within an advertising, marketing or digital agency environment
  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Journalism or Communications
  • Strong written and verbal skills with knowledge of digital marketing or media
  • Good organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Sprout, Youtube)
  • Customer service experience a plus
  • Team-oriented, and a strong desire to learn and excel
