Cowboys fans and Buenoheads? One and the same. As the Official Taco of the Dallas Cowboys, Taco Bueno set out to turn that shared love into something bigger: a high-energy campaign that celebrated every win, boosted store traffic, and kept the brand top of mind throughout football season. The goal was to bring awareness to the Cowboys partnership and drive engagement around the regular season offer—a free taco the day after every Cowboys win.
We built a full-funnel campaign that spoke directly to fans—from the stadium to the drive-thru. A bold, co-branded logo led the charge, supported by limited-edition collector’s cups and eye-catching in-store and digital assets. To take the hype to social, we launched an Instagram giveaway featuring the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, giving fans a chance to win free Cowboys tickets and other prizes. It was the perfect way to tap into game day excitement and bring new energy to the Taco Bueno brand.
The results? A win on every front. During the free taco promotion, Taco Bueno locations saw an 11% increase in sales and an 8% jump in traffic on the day after Cowboys victories. Fans got their tacos. Taco Bueno got the win. And the campaign proved what we already knew—football season tastes better with Bueno.
