THE CHALLENGE

We were tasked with YOY and MOM increases in website traffic, location searches and sign-ups. There was, however, a hurricane the previous year in which Tachus converted record numbers since they were the only provider who’s service didn’t go down.

INSIGHT

The overwhelming positive customer response in social media and especially reddit, was an asset we couldn’t not capitalize on.

APPROACH

Bring the customer’s voice and experience to life. We are the internet’s favorite internet (in Houston), so we called the competition out through their reviews and their voices. There was only one choice for weatherproof fiber internet, Tachus.

WHAT WE CREATED

A series of video spots dedicated to bringing to life customer reviews in a way that would get attention and cause a reaction as well as accompanying digital, OOH and collateral pieces.

Active area purchases up 19% YoY (OVER A HURRICANE YEAR!)

THE AUDIENCES

The data lead us to three groups.

  1. The Weather Concerned: We focused this message during hurricane season and brought to life the story of so many customers that switched to Tachus during that time.
  2. The Sports Enthusiast Streamer: We know the fiber internet users stream and stream a lot of sports! So we found a review from one of these power users and crafted it into a fun father-daughter moment.
  3. The Momfluencer: A relatable character brought to life via an honest, already humorous review from a current customer.
