WE'RE KIND OF A HUGE DEAL

THE CHALLENGE

With little to no brand recognition but backed by the number 1 most distributed frozen novelty manufacturer in the US, Monster Pops faced a unique challenge. Our challenge was to bring to life a brand position through a small test budget to see if our Big Deal positioning of flavor, size and value could move customers to buy.

OUR ANSWER

We used our brand positioning framework as the basis for our launch campaign. The combined attributes of flavor, look, size and value led us to the “Kind of a Huge Deal” campaign. We created a summer-themed digital, OOH and social media campaign that brought to life and correlated to the best Summer things we all love.

THE IMPACT

Our Monster Pops campaign made a monstrous splash with over 19.5 million impressions and 4.3 million video views, bringing big-time brand buzz and snack-worthy excitement.
Even better, the Walmart DSP test crushed it with a $8.03 ROAS, $194K in tracked sales, and a tasty 12% average unit growth in key regions—proof that Monster Pops isn’t just a snack, it’s a sensation!

Life’s little moments are kind of a HUGE DEAL.

Hitting a home run at a little league game or getting the closest parking spot at the grocery store are all a part of life’s little moments that add up to a HUGE DEAL. This summer was about celebrating these memories.

Summers at the lake, little league baseball games, family reunions, scoring your first soccer goal. We all have memorable life moments, big and small, that are Kind of a HUGE Deal. For each of those moments, Monster Pops is there. This summer, we needed to create a campaign that showed off the value of Monster Pops. Between size, flavor, swirl and cost, this product is HUGE compared to the other guys! Our challenge was to get Monster Pops in front of as many people as possible, showing how this product is there for all those special moments in a valuable way. The impact is measured by sales and how we can inform our client about future distribution opportunities.

This multi-channel approach introduced new media channels for the brand to test performance at nearby retailers. The results speak for themselves; spoiler alert, they’re a HUGE deal.
